Laboratory technician

Qualifications:

• Higher education in chemistry (preferred) or graduation from a specialized vocational college
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the relevant field

Preferred specializations:

• Plastics processing
• Chemistry and technology of high molecular compounds (HT HMC)
• Paints and coating materials

Additional qualifications:

• Knowledge of technical English (at least the ability to read technical literature)
• Ability to perform physical and mechanical tests using appropriate instruments (preferred)
• Ability to carry out basic chemical analyses (acid-base titration, water content determination using the Karl Fischer method)
• Experience using pycnometers, capillary and rotational viscometers
• Good knowledge of computer programs (MS Office)
• Ability to prepare instructions, reports, and logs — entering quality control data
• Basic knowledge of metrology is highly desirable

Salary: 1,800 GEL (net, take-home pay)
Workplace: Rustavi, Tbilisi–Red Bridge Highway, 17th km
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00
